Wow...an update

So I lied. We didn't just take it easy last night and go to bed. We couldn't, not after looking out the window and seeing that TJ's pub across the street was having Rock trivia night. So we bundled back up after watching a mostly awesome Dawgs victory(they tried to give it away at the end there) and headed over. Man was the scene depressing. There was an interesting mix of late 20's women wearing their best belltown clubbing attire hanging out with a couple of really obnoxious drunk guys. There was a wasted 23 year old obese man celebrating his birthday who forced us to ask the question: At how many inches does plumbers crack become just mooning? (he was at 9 inches..) Then there was the dusty old highway workers that were so drunk they couldn't even speak. Buuuut, that didn't stop one guy from continuing to try to talk to us. He was telling all kinds of great stories about his 35 year old life growing up in Cache Creek. It was a fun little game of trying to figure out what the hell he was talking about. Apparently he was being very fun though because about every 10 words(or attempts at words) he would bust out laughing in this weasel like cackle. He really wanted us to get on his level and kept offering to buy us a round, but we knew we had a real long day today so we denied. The highlight of the night though was our 3rd place victory in one of the rounds of rock trivia(the dj would play clips of songs and we had to come up with the name of song and artist). Our prize was a very nice miller light bottle opener. We will for sure be keeping this functional keep sake in plane view in our new home in Alaska.
